Our Prevention Policy for COVID-19

On account of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Sweese takes relevant measures to maintain the safety of employees and customers. First of all, Sweese adpots approaches to protect the health of employees, customers, visitors, and others. In the meantime, Sweese ensures that the continuity of business operations of our online store during the pandemic and that the shipment of all orders meets the safety specifications.

All employees are required to spare no efforts to reduce infectious diseases in the workplace, following the instructions below:

  • Take temperature daily.
  • Wash hands frequently, with soapy and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Wear a face mask at all times while working.
  • Avoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms.
  • Clean touched surfaces frequently with 75% alcohol.
  • Employees should keep in quarantine for 14 days if they were exposed to high-risk groups.

Staff should stay home until they get rid of all symptoms provided that they are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, or fatigue. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that ones with temperatures remain at home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever (100.4 degrees F or 37.8 degrees C using an oral thermometer) or signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medications. Sweese provides paid sick time and other benefits to compensate employees who cannot work due to illness.

Sweese will provide face masks and alcohol-based hand sanitizers throughout the workplace and in common areas. Cleaning sprays and wipes will also be provided to clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as keyboards, printers, telephones and cellphones.
